Bethesda Announces New Plans for Fallout and Elder Scrolls
Bethesda Game Studios has clarified the status of The Elder Scrolls VI, Fallout 5, Starfield updates, and remasters of two classic Fallout games in one statement.

Bethesda Game Studios has clarified the status of its long-awaited projects and its next steps for the Fallout universe in a single message. The studio shared the latest on The Elder Scrolls VI, Fallout 5’s development stage, planned updates for Starfield, and remaster work on two classic Fallout games all within the same framework. The most striking part of the message was that, for the first time, it laid out such a direct roadmap for its major games.
Support for Starfield continues
Bethesda Game Studios made it clear that Starfield will continue on its path. The game was said to have reached more than 17 million players and logged nearly one billion hours played in total. As it enters its third year, the studio plans to expand the Settled Systems universe with new stories, make targeted gameplay improvements, and deliver additional updates. It also said preparations are underway to release new Starborn content next year.
Creations also stood out as an important part of this picture. Bethesda reminded players that this system, which allows them to customize their experience, has expanded to Starfield, Skyrim, and Fallout 4. It was also shared that content creators have earned more than $10 million in royalty revenue through it. This detail shows that the studio is focusing not only on creating new content, but also on growing the player-created content ecosystem.

The Elder Scrolls VI remains at the center
The most anticipated part of the message was, unsurprisingly, The Elder Scrolls VI. Bethesda Game Studios said the game is still in development and that the team works on it every day. The studio added that it is pleased with the work currently being done. However, no release window was given, and no full title was shared for the game.
This does not bring a concrete date for players who have been waiting for years, but it does make the direction clear. The Elder Scrolls VI remains one of Bethesda’s main priorities. The studio stated openly that a large part of its team is working on the series’ next entry. That weakens rumors that the game has been pushed into the background.
